Bayamon tabs Damian Jones, ex Zhejiang GB.

Defending champion Vaqueros de Bayamon (BSN) signed 30-year-old American 210cm center Damian Jones (college: Vanderbilt). He played for Zhejiang Golden Bulls in the Chinese CBA league for the past two years. In 46 games, he averaged 9.7ppg, 5.7rpg, 1.3apg, and 1.6bpg last season.
In 2016, he was drafted by the Golden State Warriors (NBA) in the second round (30th overall). He graduated from Vanderbilt University, and this will be his eleventh season in pro basketball.
Jones is a very experienced player, having played professionally in the NBA with teams such as the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, GS Warriors, Utah Jazz, and LA Lakers. He has also played in the NBA G League with the Santa Cruz Warriors and in the NBA Summer League with the GS Warriors.
